Corporal Works

"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. ... Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me." Jesus (Matthew 25:35-40)

St. Vincent de Paul Society

To serve the poor is to go to God where true faith is found. Our purpose is to grow spiritually.

Working in teams of two, we make home visits to those requiring assistance by their request and try to provide help. Each team is on-call for a week each month, normally only for three cases. Additionally, we meet two nights a month for one hour for administrative business. We do not become involved in long-term assistance but refer cases to professional organizations.

Get Assistance

If you are in need of assistance, please call our Parish St. Vincent de Paul hotline at 580-355-7837 (355-SVDP) and clearly leave your name, phone number, and address and a SVdP representative will contact you.

Volunteer

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul welcomes those who wish to serve their neighbor. SVdP members grow spiritually through service to people in need. If you are interested in volunteering, please call the St. Vincent de Paul hotline or contact our Parish Office. If you have no time now, please remember Jesus and the poor in your monthly donations on the last weekend of each month and keep the poor in your prayers.
